Farm Cottage Holiday Home in Holmfirth & Huddersfield

Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful Holmfirth countryside in one of our three self-catering cottages set in the courtyard of Cross Farm. All our cottages are fully equipped and extremely comfortable and have been awarded a Visit Britain four star rating. There are stunning views from each of the cottages over the surrounding countryside of the Holme Valley.

The cottages share a small garden and seating area where you can enjoy a relaxing glass of wine overlooking the stunning views. Our self catering cottages are set in the heart of a small working farm rearing dairy cattle in the traditional way and we are always happy to show you round the farm. We also have plenty of free range chickens and ducks which, most of the year, provide a plentiful supply of eggs for sale.

Cross Farm is on the edge of the tourist village of Holmfirth, the famous setting of “Last of the summer Wine”, why not pay a visit to “Compo’s Café” or stand on the steps of Nora Batty’s Cottage Being in the Holme Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with the Derbyshire dales being only a short drive away, our cottages provide a perfect opportunity to explore the quiet footpaths and lanes of this hidden corner of Yorkshire.
